We need to be effective first, and then efficient second.
In this solo episode, I discuss how we can be effective in our practice. We often set our goals to achieve a certain amount or perform specific procedures. But how can we reach these goals quickly and yield better results? In dental practice, effectiveness and efficiency are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct differences. In reality, we can strive for efficiency as much as we want, but we will eventually reach a limit. On the other hand, being effective means maximizing what we have at our disposal for the greater good.
