[00:00:00] What if two days could completely change your practice? You know, you could spend the next year doing more ce, maybe hiring a consultant, buying more technology, or you could spend two days with us in Orlando, April 30th and May 1st, surrounded by people who are solving the problem, who are rowing in the same direction of you and learning from people who have been there and done that. You know, April 30, May 1, that's what this episode about. The 3D Summit, 20, 26. And today, I want to walk you through exactly who's in that room, why it matters to you. And if you stick around till the end of the episode, I'm going to give you an amazing offer that you just can't refuse. [00:00:48] Most dentists don't have a knowledge problem. They have an isolation problem. They're just in the wrong room with the wrong people. [00:00:57] Why do dentists keep learning things that never actually change anything? You know, you've been to the courses, you've read the books, you're on social media, you're on instafamous fake book. Maybe you've hired consultants. They're not the mastermind. That's why it's not working for you. But you go back to the office Monday and maybe things change for a little bit, but then everything goes back to normal. [00:01:20] And part of it is because you're doing it alone. You're in your head, your team's not on board, you're not being led by people that have been there, that share with you what's actually going to go wrong and how you actually overcome that. You know, the missing ingredient isn't more information. [00:01:39] It's being in a room with people who are going in the same direction of you and who have actually solved the same problems from people that are actually working dentists. [00:01:52] And that's what PD Dentist has always been about. And that's very much what our 3D summit is designed to fix. Two days from real dentists, real systems, real results. [00:02:05] You know, the biggest ROI in dentistry isn't a new piece of equipment. [00:02:10] It's getting around the right people. [00:02:14] Are you around the right people in your dental life? [00:02:18] So what is a 3D summit and what are you actually walking into? [00:02:23] Number one, it's April 30, May 1, Orlando, Florida, Lowe's, Sapphire Falls Resort, right on Universal Studios. It's a great opportunity for you to bring your spouse, your loved one, your kids, let them enjoy some time at the parks, and let you enjoy some amazing dental learning. We're talking about strategy and leadership, the business and clinical frameworks that actually move the needle. We're talking about team training and culture sessions designed to for your entire team, not just you. We're talking about clinical excellence. How do you do all of that amazing dentistry? How do you learn from people who are doing it? And how do you learn from the business minds that are making it happen? 14 CE credits. And yes, Thursday evening and Thursday night, we're all going to Universal Studios. Work hard, play hard. That's right. For each paid ticket, even with the special promotion I'm giving you at the end, you will get a ticket to Universal Studios for Thursday evening. We're going as a group, you're welcome to enjoy it as a group, you're welcome to enjoy it on your own, with your family. [00:03:34] Look, this is without question the most important event we do each year. And I want you to come to the event, don't get me wrong. [00:03:44] But if you can't, we're also selling recording tickets so that you and your team can enjoy. Enjoy it on demand after it's over. So let me walk you through who's on stage and why. More importantly, why each one matters to your practice. Eight speakers, every one of them were chosen because they represent a piece of the complete picture. The complete practice. Clinical excellence, leadership, business systems, patient experience, technology. [00:04:13] All the things that it takes to win in dentistry in 2026. It's not 1999 when I graduated, just being a good clinician work is 2026. It's AI, it's business, it's team culture, it's leadership, it's clinical excellence, it's profitability, it's all these things today. [00:04:36] Now, you may not think you need all of it, but I promise you, you could benefit from all of it. But you need to know which one is your weak link. And I promise you, wherever your weakness is in your practice, wherever you want to learn more, our summit is the answer. It's amazing energy, it's amazing education, it's an amazing experience. And let me walk you through each speaker, the topic and exactly what it means to you. [00:05:04] So not in any order of importance or anything like that, just I'm talking off the top of my head. So, first of all, you're going to have me T bone my business partner, Sully Sullivan. We're going to lead off each day, we're going to talk about the various things, give you kind of the state of the union of what's going on in dentistry, the state of the union and building a great practice. So we represent only two of the Six. It's two of the eight speakers. We've got six amazing outside speakers. It's the first time we've done this where we brought in all speakers from outside. [00:05:38] So let's start first. Dr. Craig Spodak, right there in South Florida. What's actually holding your practice back? And it's not what you think. You know, Craig has been a good friend of mine for over a decade now. I respect Craig. Craig's built one of the most recognized practices in the country. And it wasn't. And he'd admit this, and it wasn't because he was the best clinician in the room. He's a good clinician, but his talk is going to be about the thing that very few, maybe nobody. I want to admit it. I preach on this. But Craig preaches on this, too. And your clinical skills are not your growth ceiling. Your leadership is how you communicate with your team, how you set expectations, how you hold people accountable. [00:06:26] That's the procedure that most of us never train for. [00:06:31] Now, why is this important? Who does this apply to? Every single person in that room. Every single person listening to this podcast. Every dental professional not listening to this podcast. By the way, if they're not listening, you need to help me out by sharing the podcast. Share this episode look, we want more and more people in the summit because we know the energy we create is contagious and it's what dentistry needs. So whether you've been practicing 2 years, 25 years, 30 years, Craig's talk applies to you. If you ever said, my team just doesn't get it, Craig is going to show you why that's actually on you. And more importantly, what to do about it and how. He's built a eight figure practice, multi eight figure practice with almost 50 team members and it runs without him. This is one of the highest leverage talks at the summit. And for anybody that owns a practice, desires to own a practice, has a team, desires to grow, that talk is so important. [00:07:42] Listen, you can be the best clinician in your zip code and still have a miserable or unfulfilling practice. [00:07:51] Leadership is the procedure that changes everything. If you've been listening to this podcast, if you've been listening to me, I say it day in and day out. Everything rises and falls in leadership. That's John Maxwell, not me. But it is so true. And Craig lives it and breathes it, and we wanted an outside voice to come in and share it with you. [00:08:13] Now let's talk about the procedure that every cosmetic dentist dreads. And how do you make it More predictable. And how do you stop dreading it if you haven't figured out it's the single central incisor, the single anterior tooth. And no other than Dr. Davil Patel keep CAD camming himself is coming to the 3D summit to share with you exactly what we're doing and how he's doing it to create single centrals that are rival laboratory work but yet are profitable to your practice. So every dentist who deals with single centrals that doesn't have the confidence, every single dentist needs to come and learn this one tooth has to match near perfectly. The margin for error is basically zero. [00:09:06] And he's going to walk you through exactly, step by step how he approaches these cases. The workflow, the communication, the execution. Does this even matter to you? Listen, these cases come to every general dentist and right now most of us are sending the signal to the patient or avoiding the conversation about our confidence in doing these cases because honestly, we lack them. And honestly, oftentimes they're not worth it. But they can be and should be. If you're referring or if you're not doing single centrals, you're giving away one of most sought after high value unlocking procedures in dentistry. And this is the clinical talk, no nonsense that will change how you look at your existing patients. Here's the truth. [00:09:56] The single central is a confidence test. Pass the single central and your entire cosmetic practice changes. You walk with more confidence, you talk with more confidence, and you execute with more confidence. [00:10:11] Now how do we get any better than those two speakers? Let me just keep telling you, because we built the 3D summit. 2026, April 30, May 1, Orlando, Florida. We built it to actually move your practice. Now, while we're on the subject of cosmetic dentistry, what is some of the most complicated and even hardest case acceptance cosmetic dentistry out there? It's not four units, it's not 10 units, it's FMR, full mouth reconstruction. They represent two challenges. [00:10:43] Challenge number one is sequencing, doing it confidence. How do I approach these cases so I don't screw them up? Problem number two, the bigger problem, because once you even learn those techniques, problem number two is most of my patients don't have 50 grand to afford this. I wish there was a way to stage these cases, but it's hard on wear cases, hard to open the bite, it's hard to do all of this and and not have the patient commit to the entire treatment. But Dr. Diana Todros, my girl from South Florida, she's going to change the way you look at full mouth Reconstructions, completely full mouth reconstructions. Where dentistry gets meaningful. It's also where most dentists get stuck. Either they rush and get into trouble, something doesn't go right, or they tell the patient, you gotta do it all at once and you can't stage it out. And the patient just says, hey, I don't have that kind of money. [00:11:40] Diana is going to lay out a framework for how to stage these cases properly so that you win and they become very predictable. This isn't theory. This is a clinical roadmap you can use Monday after the summit. If you're not following Diana exocad Elite on instafamous, then you're missing out on what she actually does. She is one of the best sellers, someone I look up to, someone I was super excited to have speak at the summit. What does proper staging actually change for the patient and for your practice? For the patient. Better outcomes, less overwhelm, higher acceptance because the path is clear and the path is actually affordable and achievable for you. Predictability, protected revenue, and the confidence that you can actually meet the patient where they're at and present the cases instead of shrinking away from them. If you've ever lost a full mouth case because you didn't know how to sequence it or stage it, this talk is for you. Diana is down to earth. Amazing. [00:12:49] Does this every week in her practice. Full mouth reconstruction cases don't fall apart in the chair. They fall apart in the presentation, the sequencing and the staging. [00:13:01] Know your sequencing, know how to stage these cases and your closing rate changes overnight. Don't miss Diana. [00:13:09] How do we get better? How do we get even better than that? Let me tell you. You know, have you guys noticed that dentistry is competing on price? It seems like it's a race to the bottom that we just can't win. [00:13:23] Well, Dr. Grant Olson is going to talk about that. If you don't know Grant, I don't know what you've been doing. Dr. Grant Olson's in the metropolitan town of Springfield, Missouri. He knows you know I'm joking. Spring. Not Bart Simpson Spring Field, but Springfield, Missouri. And what's amazing is Grant has built a mega practice in Springfield, Missouri, and he gets half of his patients to fly in from out of town. They fly over my practice. They fly over your practice. And how does he get them to come to his practice? And how does he get them to pay more? That's exactly what Grant's going to talk about in his Talk at the 3D Summit, April 30 through May 1, 2020. 6. [00:14:07] He's talking about something so fundamental and so important. How do you build a practice where patients don't flinch at your fees because they already understand the value before they even get into your chair? No one, very few, or no one in dentistry has done this better than Grant. I've been watching Grant for a decade. I keep trying to get him to come, and I finally wore him down. He's going to come spend a day or so with us at the summit, and he's going to share with you exactly how he's done it. The race to the bottom on price. It's a choice, doesn't have to be a reality. And it's what happens when the patient experience doesn't justify the fee and when you just kind of fit in with everything around you. So how do you opt out of the fee pressure completely? And why is that important to you? It starts before the patient ever even calls your office or sits in your chair. It's how they found you, what they need, what they experience, when they found what they experience in your practice and what they experience from your team and from you. Grant has built a practice that commands that fee in a competitive market of travel, dentistry, and Springfield, Missouri. And he's going to show you exactly how the patient experience creates that permission and that desire to go ahead and pay more because they value your clinical excellence, they value your experience, and they don't want to go anywhere else. If you've ever discounted a fee because you didn't fill out, the patient saw the value, Grant's talk is going to address that exact problem. You know, here's the truth. [00:15:49] If patients are questioning your fees, they're not questioning your price. They're questioning your value. [00:15:55] That's a systems problem, not a marketing problem. [00:15:59] And then how do we make it even better? [00:16:02] Well, we've got none other than Dr. Payman Ricey from Nashville, Tennessee. He's going to come and he's going to talk about full arch implant restorations. [00:16:14] You cannot talk about dentistry. Go into Fakebook, go into Insta Famous. Go to any conference without the people talking about arches, arches, arches, arches. I do it. You probably do it. Probably one of the reasons you listen to this podcast or follow us. So whether you're placing or restoring full arch implant dentistries, it's the hot topic. It's the sexy thing in dentistry. The demand is there, the uptick is there. The question is whether your skills and your workflow are keeping up to be more predictable, to be more profitable. Payment is going to show you exactly what the modern restoration of these cases look like and how to get amazing results. I've learned from payment, I want you to learn from payment. Digital workflows, material selection, occlusal consideration, when things go right, these are the things that separate a predictable outcome from a problem case. So what does this mean for the general dentist who is restoring implants, but maybe not placing implants or the general dentist who's doing it? All your patients are getting these cases done, whether you're doing the surgery or whether somebody else is doing the surgery. And you're left trying to restore these cases. It's important to understand your role before the surgery, your role after the surgery. And being fluent in full arch implant dentistry means you stay in the case, you're the restorative partner, you don't lose the patient. This talk is about staying relevant in the highest growth segment of implant dentistry. And here's the reality. The dentists who understand full arch implants, even if they never place an implant, keeps the patient and learns an invaluable skill. The one who doesn't, loses the patient forever and the skills never increase. [00:18:11] So how do we make it even better? Well, all the way from the west coast we've got Dr. Najad. Matt has an amazing practice in Beverly Hills, California. One of the most competitive and ultra picky parts of dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, biomimetic dentistry on high pressure patients. You know, Matt sits at the intersection of technology and clinical excellence. Biomimetic dentistry is about working with the tooth rather than against it. Preserving structure, matching biology, minimizing long term failure. Matt's patients, and your patients too demand not just clinically excellent work, not just outstanding beauty, but also long lasting dentistry. And the problem in how do you do all of those three things efficiently, effectively, and how do you scale something that precise? CAD CAM is the answer. And Matt's going to show you how to intersect your CAD CAM dentistry and longevity biorimetic dentistry together. And why does this matter for you? The general dentist who's already busy and like, oh my God, one more thing for me to learn. Because dentistry that respects the tooth fails less. And when things fails less, your patients stay longer, they refer more and you earn trust at an absolutely different level. The combination of biomimetic principles with digital workflow means better outcomes and more efficiency, not more time in the chair. This is the talk for the dentist who wants to do fewer redos, who wants to be the most modern, up to date cosmetic dentistry that they can be proud of. The best dentistry isn't the Most aggressive dentistry. The tooth that lasts 30 years is worth more than a crown that needs redoing after 5 to 10. It's simple and Matt is amazing and a world class expert on how to do this. Eight speakers. Each one represents a piece of the complete practice. Hopefully you've seen with our six outside speakers that you're like, holy smokes. [00:20:28] It's amazing content, it's amazing clinicians, it's amazing energy, amazing location, it's leadership, cosmetic skills, complex restorative systems, patient experience, implant, implant restoration, digital workflows, leadership. All of it. You may not need all of it, but you need to know your piece. That's the weakest link. And 3D summit is where you figure it out. And 3D summit is where you get around the people who are rowing in the same direction, who are excited about dentistry, who demand growth, who are excited about growth, and who don't shy away from growth. It's the room you want to be in. Two days, real dentists, real answers, and you walk out with a completely different plan for your practice. You want to level it up, bring your team, get them on board. There is no one in dentistry that does team training, team integration, better than 3D dentists. You don't go to the summit to learn. You go to the summit to decide and change what you want, change your direction, change your vision, change the possibilities in your practice. [00:21:37] You want to go deeper, you want to learn more. Is that not enough? [00:21:40] Every day this week, I'm going to give you a few interviews from some of the speakers I've recorded with to give you more insight. Dr. Craig Spodek, Dr. Davil Patel, Dr. Diana Tratos, and Dr. Grant Olson. Each episode drops this week. Make sure you subscribe on your feed, whether that's Spotify, Apple Podcasts or YouTube. And each one is a preview, not a full picture of what they're bringing to the summit. [00:22:07] And I need you to listen to them, I need you to share them. I need you to attend the 3D summit. Subscribe so you don't miss them. These are conversations are worth your commute time. So what's the special promotion I've been talking about? [00:22:22] I'm telling you, we are going all out for the 3D summit. Here's what we're going to do for our podcast listeners. I'm going to give you a code that gets you 40% off at checkout. That takes our $24.95 Dr. Ticket and drops it to 14.97. That takes a 1495 team ticket and drops it to 8.97. That's 40% off. So again, Tbone 40T B O N E4 0 at checkout gets you 40% off. [00:23:11] The best value in dentistry. No doubt about it. [00:23:15] Real talks, real dentists, real energy, real implementation from practicing dentists who eat, live and breathe this every single day. One more thing before I close out this episode. [00:23:30] Look, you can keep doing what you're doing and hope things change, or you can get in a room where change is the whole point. It's what we do. It's why our mastermind doctors do amazingly well. It's why our clinical implant training doctors do amazingly well. It's why those of you who listen to the podcast do amazingly well. [00:23:54] That's why dentists do great is they're surrounded by people who care. Surrounded by people who are getting there and who are digging deep to get there. April 30th, May 1st, Orlando. All you gotta do is go to 3D dentist.com summit or just go to 3D dentist.com, get to the summit page. Type in T bone 40 Tbone 40 to get 40% off. Don't sit on it.
