TBS259 - Implant Weekend Open Mic Part 2 with John Acosta
Dr. John Acosta is the owner of Pacific Coast Dental, a practice in the Pacifica, California area whose services include preventative dentistry, general dentistry, one-day crowns, and Invisalign clear braces. He earned his dental degree in his parent’s home country, the Philippines, and subsequently took continuing education in the US. Dr. Acosta has over 20 years of experience and is a proud member of many dental associations such as the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the San Mateo County Dental Society, of which he was president in 2018.
Dr. Acosta joins me and Sully during Open Mic Night at the 3D Dentist Retreat. He asks questions regarding best marketing practices for business owners and how to let patients know about your dental services upon their arrival. I share the importance of marketing your culture, especially with social media. I discuss what it means to be financially flexible and express my financial goals. I explain what I do to lead by example and how that translates to better management and practice culture. I also entertain questions from other dentists regarding sales strategies, establishing culture, and what to have before you perform your first implant.
"It was an eye-opening moment to me—how important it is to let your patients tell what they don't like about their teeth, and to let them know what services you offer."- John Acosta
